This morning a parcel arrived for a neighbour. Normally, one or more of us would run it over to them right away. But this wasn’t a normal day.  A number of urgent jobs took far longer than planned, and soon it was getting dark. It’s easy to get bogged down in a day…

It’s funny how quickly a day can change around here: A late start after a few big days, and I *really* wanted to have a lazy day. That sounded a lot better than doing my BAS / tax, but I had every intention of being diligent – until the phone rang…  A stranger on the other end was asking if we did towing as they were bogged. The Fence Guy

So, the other day I had to force myself to drive the bus to get it relicensed (I’m sure I will still be taking cars over the pits at 95 if I last that long!)…Driving along the freeway, we passed a vehicle with a flat tyre & stopped to help.I hobble over on crutches & meet the guy, very thankful, saying he doesn’t have a wheel brace.
