With everything that is going on in the world at the moment: the uncertainty, the fear, floods, wars, coming economic strain, disease, government mandates, is sure is good to know how it will all end!
If you read the Bible, none of what is happening is a surprise – it was all written down thousands of years ago so we would not be worried when it happens. And, even if the demise of the West happens in our lifetime (which is highly likely), we need not be afraid: Jesus is in control!
I have found that virtually every person I have spoken to lately is open to talking about God, end times and the Bible. That’s not where they start – they are noticing the state of things in world. They are discussing how irrational a lot of it is and their position on Covid / the jab / mandates is normally made clear. But all of it is an opportunity to talk of the One on the Throne who is in control and has paid such a high price for them.
And, while in the past many have been antagonistic or indifferent, now there is a shift. People are listening, people are realising that the system they are under is not trustworthy or secure. People are waking up to the fact that what they own or feel is of little importance as it is all about to come crashing down…
Lately, these particular words of Jesus have been coming to me regularly:
“Wake up and look around. The fields are ripe for harvest”
John 4:35b (NLT)
I get this thought often when I am talking to people…Jesus is trying to reach this person, the harvest is now! Be bold for our Saviour – not ‘just’ the Creator of Heaven and earth…He is the King of Kings!!! He is more than Mighty!

- More than Mighty: to convince even the most determined sceptic
- More than Mighty: to save the most wretched repentant sinner
- More than Mighty: to comfort the greatest true victim
- More than Mighty: to adopt the most unloveable rebel
- More than Mighty: to walk with those in the darkest valley
- More than Mighty: to protect those in the hottest fire
- More than Mighty: to keep afloat those in the deepest water
- More than Mighty: to use fallible people like you and me!!
“Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.

Lord, please give us boldness, wisdom and compassion as we share Your truth and shower people with Your love. Help us to realise that we owe it *all* to You and that it is only You and those in You who will survive. As our guiding light and power – use us to plant, water and harvest these precious souls for Your Kingdom.
