I am not sure why so many Christians are up in arms about a woman saying Mary should have aborted Jesus. What do we expect from people who love sin and are spiritually blind / dead?
Did we not love sin & hate what was good before Jesus opened our eyes / changed our hearts? I know for one I did.
The Bible is so clear on how confused and blind people are: He literally abandons them to their own foolishness. (Scripture below). When I think back at how ridiculous my own beliefs were before Jesus changed me I am amazed. Nothing could convince me otherwise until that day where everything changed for good.
If someone believes they have the right to create a child and then murder it, why would they think that the One who instituted the foundation of love for their society (Jesus) shouldn’t die too? To me it is telling that there is only One that people can not be tolerant / accepting of – the One they need.
This lady needs our prayers – but more than that, so do our neighbours. Our culture is in decline (and according to history already doomed), there will be much more of this to come. Their stance and plight (in this life and the next) should grieve us enough to motivate us to (the right) action.
The time for writing to media and movie companies has passed – it’s too little too late.
We have allowed evil to flourish by our apathy and our own love of what our society offers.
In my opinion, the time has come to Position Yourself. (Article link in the comments).
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. Romans 1:28-32 (NLT)
