Decisions Decisions
Every day, decisions bombard us:

Read this post? Glance over it? Keep Scrolling?

What do I want to eat? What to watch? How will I answer that question from my spouse / boss / teacher?

Our very lives could be summed up as a “display to the world of my daily choices”.

Some are big, others we think at the time are insignificant and make no difference to the trajectory of our lives. But this is far, far from the truth.

Each and every disaster can be traced back to a seemingly harmless, mundane decision.

Take for example the Russian (Stanislav Petrov), who had been trained to make a phone call if he saw a certain event happen. This event, the start of world war 3, would have been the end of all life. For years he was prepared to do one thing, he knew what to do, it was to be an automatic reaction: make phone call so his country could launch their Nukes ad punish the aggressor.

But in this moment, when the very event actually happened1it turned out to be a false alarm, but in the moment was exactly what he was trained to look for , he made a split decision: he did not make the call. The result? The world still exists! But what about you?

Is there a decision you have, should or will make that will change the course of your life or destiny? I’m here to tell you that there are many, but one RIGHT NOW that could change everything…

I’m about to talk about Jesus, (not religion), and the decision you make will determine more than 1000 years of your future. You see, when you here about Jesus – you have a choice.

Either He (and the person sharing with you) is deranged, or He (and they) have truth. Ignore His offer of life, or follow Him? This choice will change your reality for the next 20 – 70 years while on earth. But it will also change your eternal destiny. But know this: there is no middle ground. It is impossible to sit on the fence.

You have sinned. You are covered and stained by sin.
Jesus paid your fine. He was tortured and killed in your place.
He rose from the dead. Empowering those who follow to live in freedom, not religion.

What about you? What will you decide right now?
Forget this crap? What until later – hoping you will get another chance?
Or surrender to the Creator – trusting that the perfect Son of God paid for your sin, turning from your own life & following Him?

I can attest to the fact that *everything* changes from this point. Decisions about food, career, house, spouse: EVERYTHING is meaningless compared to where you stand with Jesus…

But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world.

41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
Matthew 25:31-46 (NLT)

Where will you spend eternity? It’s all that matters!
