Yesterday, I saw a glimpse of something very powerful:
It was of a day that is actually coming. A day where there will be a great procession of people. A GREAT procession… It will leave the (even the pre-Covid) Olympics for dead, it will be VAST in size!
Every human who has ever lived on the planet – past, present and future – will be worshipping Him. Some will have joy in the fact that they will finally be released from the life they hate, excited to transition in to their new reality – Heaven.
Most however, will be having the realisation that they have rejected the only One who could help them on this day.
This same Man – Jesus – is now the centre of this *huge* procession. And although they know their fate, they will suddenly be aware that God is correct in condemning them.
They will see their sin and why it was wrong – being totally against the One that gave them life. Despite being about to enter hell, they will be bowing and worshipping Jesus in the midst of this great procession.
The whole world worshipping, anyone else in that place would have at least a slither of pride – but not Jesus. Totally humble, still full of grace & love but now being revealed as having total control and power over everything and everyone.
The thing that stood out as I looked at this picture? Looking into His eyes…

The fire that sears right into the soul – knowing every thought, deed and word of sin. Nothing hidden. But, despite that, and despite the long list of sin you know is there, He beams only unconditional love.
And not love in a universal abstract way, but a knowing, specific and individual love for you. Knowing your thoughts, your concerns, your history, your pain, your hurts, your arguments, your hopes, your needs – everything.
And. He. Cares…A lot!
Intimately and personally, He loves you. He does not want you to worship Him only once before being separated from Him forever. He wants you to have an eternity with Him. And He longs for that connection now not ‘just’ forever.
He has paid the price for it too. A *huge* price – the biggest ever paid – was paid for you. Jesus loves *you* – here’s how you know: you are reading this.
He has protected you and led others to share truth with you. He Les me to write this, knowing I would be disliked for it.
But He continues to call, don’t keep rejecting – it’s like trying to dig a hole with a garden fork, like trying to cut a steak with a baseball bat, like trying to stop an avalanche with a toothpick.
At some point, you will have to acknowledge, Jesus is who He says He is. This ‘higher being’, this Creator who wound up the clock, He stuck around. He wants you. He loves you.
Join the procession today!
It’s not about here & now – in fact your life may get harder. Friends & family may turn against you. Many will call you names and avoid your company. The trials will come, but through each one He will be with you. He will use everything for His glory. And the reward? whoa!!
