If He could fulfil one thing, it would be that you know and experience His great love for you. He has already done a lot for this to happen: including sending His Son to die for you…
Hello My child, this is Me, God: your real dad.
I formed you in your mothers womb, creating you just the way I wanted. With care and deliberate thought, I fashioned you. I loved what I saw and I still do. I made you to be a little like Me. You’re made in My image!
I have been watching you your whole life, waiting.
I have protected you continually from so many things, just so we get this chance to talk right now. And I’m glad I did.
I want you to know true peace, true joy, true fulfilment. In short, I desire that you know Me – I am source of all those things. And more.
While you have not known that I was here, I have been close. Always present.
Although you thoughts about me have been wrong, I love you anyway.
I have so many thoughts about you – and they are all good. So many, it would overwhelm you if you knew. They outnumber the number of grains of sand on the seashores.
There has been a problem though, it has been hurting you – and there is worse to come.
Sin – the things you have done that you know are wrong – are not just eating you up on the inside… They leave you separated from Me, blind to truth, spiritually dead and under My wrath.
A state that you will find yourself in eternally unless you respond to My gift of love. It would kill Me again to know that you would be in that state forever. The first time it killed me, I watched My own Son die at My own hand, in order give you this chance.
That’s right, I sent Jesus to earth to die on your behalf – to pay the price for your sin. My perfect, holy Son, tortured, killed and separated from Me – just for you. As ugly and devastating as that act was – it communicates My endless and unconditional love for you.
I didn’t do this to get you hooked into a religion or keep you trapped. I did this to pay the full price of your sin – every problem, every failure, every bad word and even every bad thought – all gone.
Forgiven. Clean. Pure. Not from your doing but from what I did. I did it because I love to forgive. It is in my very nature. I want you to experience life the way I intended it.
All you have to do is turn away from what you already know doesn’t work.
Turn away from the things I say are bad, sin.
Turn away from trusting yourself and your own ‘good’ deeds.
Turn away from the things that you use to try to dull the pain.
Turn away from anything that would hinder us spending time together or you getting to know Me more.
And Trust.
Trust that Jesus paid for complete and total forgiveness.
Trust that Jesus is My Son, the Creator of all.
Trust that Jesus is the only One that can give you life.
Trust that Jesus is the only One that can give you freedom.
Come to me – I want to take the burden you are carrying.
I care. I always have. I always will.
Run to Me I am a fortress in times of attack.
Come and shelter under my wings, I am like a mothering hen.
Fall into My arms, I am waiting.
When you need company I am here.
When you need protection I am with you.
I will provide for you through every season.
When you walk through the dark valley, I am right besides you – even though it doesn’t seem like it.
When you feel like you are drowning – I am in the deep water with you.
When you feel like you will be burned up – I am in the fire with you too.
Relax! I have used each and every situation for your good – to bring you to this point.
I know it hasn’t been easy – I know at times how much it has hurt, but I am glad now for all of it. I hope you will be one day too.
If you accept and trust in My offer – I will use you to help others in the same state you have been in. And worse.
I have much for you to do – but I will be with you and help you.
And I will give you power. My Holy Spirit is able to fill you due to the forgiveness I purchased for you.
He will guide you and give you a continual sense of My presence – and also conviction when you err.
He will give you a sense of belonging – you will more and more respond as my child. I am your perfect Father.
One day, you will naturally call me daddy! Deal with anything that hinders or stops this.
Continue to remember that everything has already been done, nothing you can do can earn anything. It is truly finished. But I haven’t finished with you!
I will be with you and keep working on, in and through you until I return.
That’s not all that long – and then there will be no more pain, no more suffering, no more sin, no more death.
Rise up precious one.
