Hello precious people!
After reading about the UN’s push for Western governments to clamp down on homeschooling i felt to write the below.
With our election just around the corner, with more parties signing on to the progressive agenda, things might seem futile. But don’t give up! While things may get more difficult God is in control – Jesus sits in the place of victory – He is King!
Your actions & work inputting His Truth into your precious ones will not be useless – His word never returns void. The foundation you give your children can hold them in good stead no matter what happens around them. Even if He allows our culture to crumble altogether, there is a place for those who endure to the end.
My thoughts went to Esther this morning: the foundation she had (not even from her own mother & father), held her in good stead. When her world came crashing down around her, when she was held virtually as a sex partner and captive of the ruling king, she followed Mordecai’s instructions to the letter. What God accomplished through her is well known.
And what about Joseph? Bitter rejection, cruel enslavement, unfair persecution and intense temptation needed to be endured and resisted while isolated, without support from family, friends or community.
How are we preparing our children for what is to come? They will be tested, but if you have laid the foundation of His Word and they are grounded in the Gospel…they have the surest footing of all.
Remember, the work on a masterpiece takes time and care and that is what He is doing with all of us…
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
May these warriors and ‘warrioresses’ of the King be bold because of He who they represent and He who empowers them!
Lord help us to keep our eyes on You, give us wisdom, perseverance and passion as we lay a foundation into these precious ones. Be glorified in their lives and ours.
