Today it’s our FIFTEENTH Wedding Anniversary!
To say it has been a FULL ON 15 years with many highs and lows is an understatement! Many, many failures & mistakes but always matched and overcome by God’s love and grace. We are very thankful to Jesus who brought us together and really is the reason we are still together.
We had decided that we weren’t going to go anywhere or do anything special, but would tidy up the property and possibly try to sort either some bedroom furniture or bed sheets for our room.
After doing some normal morning duties, we were told that we were not allowed in the front room. After waiting for what seemed like hours, we were finally allowed in and were greeted to this…
All the flowers had been gathered form the property, with food & treats that had been prearranged.
Fresh berries (blue, rasp, goose & mull) n yogurt, jerky, chips n chocolate
And of course….
CURRY & Wantons!!
So thoughtful and an amazingly relaxed morning, followed by some light duties, tidying and a short trip to look at possible bedroom furniture.
After 15 years married, should we get a matching bedroom set? As it turns out – NO! 😂
But at least we got to share about Jesus with one of the people selling the furniture…
Very, very blessed by the life we can lead and excited by what we discover He has planned for us.
Maybe eventually a completed house (and bedroom furniture lol).
